VW
In 2002 working with William & Mitchell we were approached
by Leigh VW of North Carolina who were looking to appeal
to there higher end market with some viral materials for
the unannounced "VW Touareg." I came up with the idea
of using map lines and VW symbolism to show this is a vehicle
that can travel anywhere, and everywhere you go there is
a VW. We kept the work simple and clean and the copy headlines
in german. In the same tune as VW's proud "Drivers Wanted" headline
we suggested that VW Touareg Drivers were more "Adventures
Wanted."
